Professional food sourcing process with product samples, specifications and packaging

The sourcing journey

A clear path from brief to next steps.

Four practical phases keep the supplier search focused and the commercial decision with you.

01

DEFINE

Tell us what you need.

Product, specification, estimated volume, packaging, target market, certifications and timing.

02

SOURCE

We identify and approach relevant manufacturers.

The search is shaped around your actual sourcing brief rather than a predefined supplier list or catalogue.

03

COMPARE

We structure the information you need to evaluate options.

Depending on the requirement, this can include MOQ, quotations, specifications, packaging, samples and relevant supplier information.

04

COORDINATE

We coordinate the agreed next steps.

Once you decide how to proceed, we can coordinate supplier communication, samples, packaging, documentation and agreed export-related steps.

Your sourcing brief

A better brief leads to a more focused supplier search.

Don’t have every detail yet? That’s fine. Send us what you already know.

  • Product / product category
  • Specification or quality requirements
  • Estimated volume
  • Packaging / private label requirements
  • Target market and required certifications

Before choosing a supplier

Compare food suppliers on the same basis.

A quotation is easier to assess when every supplier answers the same questions. Record what is confirmed, what is excluded and what still needs clarification.

01

Product and specification

Compare the same product, quality specification, pack size and quantity. Note any differences in ingredients, shelf life or required storage.

02

Order quantity and packaging

Ask separately for the production MOQ and the minimum quantity for printed packaging. Clarify whether different pack sizes or artwork versions have their own minimums.

03

Price and delivery scope

Compare currency, price unit, quotation validity, payment terms and the agreed delivery term and place. List packaging, transport, documentation and other charges separately where applicable.

04

Samples, evidence and timing

Record sample costs, the agreed specification, requested supplier documents and open approvals. Distinguish sample preparation, artwork approval, production readiness and transport time.

Before an order, confirm who supplies each document, who approves the product and artwork, and which coordination services are included. Any specialist testing, audit or compliance review must be agreed separately.
